I'm really getting bored of world o fwarcraft, and I'm in the need for a new game.

Oh, and I've tried so many free mmo's, so chances are that i've played it D:

I know you want to steer clear of mmos but City of Heroes/Villains is pretty fun. Theres even a 14 day trial for CoV on fileplanet if you just want to screw around with it and then stop playing.

Make sure you change the camera options once you're done downloading the client. The default camera options are horrible.

One question, is it like the WoW trial where you need to set up an account and use a credit card so when you're ready you can 'just keep playing'?

in other words, will i still need a credit card?

Absolutely not. Thats the primary reason why I even tried it out.

Good news is I had so much fun with the trial, I went out and bought the collector's edition (which is $20 on amazon even though the normal game is 30 <_<).

I liked City of Heroes until they spammed my mailbox with City of Hero comics just to keep me from not subscribing.

Edit: Get Tribes Vengence or Star Wars Battlefront 2 for the PC.

Played City of Villians, and can say, didn't like it. Wasn't quite my cup of tea.

Any other suggestions?

Also, I've played SWBF:2, was great for a while but wore out after a long time, but never tried Tribes.

Is Tribes Vengence free or pay for it?

Pay for it but it's like 10-20 bucks. Kinda disapointed in it since it has the same problem with CS: Source, the one shot kill deal thing. The first version of Tribes free though.

Hm, I might try the first version of Tribes. Although, I have no clue what Tribes is all about :0. I'll update this post or soemthing whether I like it or not.
