Rome total war was an awesome game.It's only flaw in my opinion is that sometimes it took too long to conquer all of the lands.

Rome total war was an awesome game.It's only flaw in my opinion is that sometimes it took too long to conquer all of the lands.

How is that a bad thing? I'm grateful for the length of the average game of RTW. You really have to be good at planning, that's all. I usually figure out how I'm going to win by my third turn. Then all that's left is keeping track of what's happening and responding accordingly. That's definitely not to say it's an easy game though, it's not. It's a hell of a lot of fun.

Dawn of war is pretty cool, I love how the computer always beats me due to something stupid. Like the Tau having no anti tank capabilities and how one space marine land rover with lasers killed like 8 squads of firewarriors, 3 crisis cuits with missile pods, 1 commander fully upgraded, and like 2 missile support things. I'm just going by the demo, but I played the beta for the original game.

The online is pretty intense. I need to see if this comp can handle it on a larger scale, I have some crap video card and a gig of ram, but the demo plays fine no problems.

Dawn of War 2 is gonna come out soon so hey if you didn't like 1 too much you can wait for 2 to fix the problems.

Its a cool game but where I live I cant get cable internet, so my computer games are rendered useless.

I can play call of duty 4 on xbox live due to the amazing coding with no lag, but I cant play gears of war either.

He did said he had a "mid-end" PC. Not sure if he can play that heavy game. Also, what about Homeworld 1 & 2? Classic games.
