Those files will not cause your game to crash.

Then is your copy of Half-Life and/or CD-Key valid? As in you bought it from the store or bought it through Steam. If you downloaded an illegal copy then that would most likely be causing you problems.

By using Steam. WON is dead, it was replaced by what is known as WON2 but it's very unstable plus you won't be able to play with other people unless you play the latest version of ESF on Steam.

Guzzie. WON is dead. IT died 2 years ago and got replaced with STEAM.

All that WON is good for theese days is causing lots of bugs in ESF.
