NEED HELP PLEASE events/meleesounds.sc problems

please some1 help everytime i go 2 play this message pops up and disconnects me that says could not load events/meleesounds.sc or some crap like that please help

Firstly, welcome to the forums.

Secondly, please do not double post in the future. If you are unfamiliar with the rules, please read over the Acceptable Usage Policy.

Thirdly, the meleesounds.sc is simply a blank text file. And there is an easy way to fix it. Go to your ESF directory in Steam/SteamApps/Your E-Mail/Half-Life/ESF/ find your events folder, if you don't have one create it. And in that folder, create a new blank textfile called meleesounds and be sure to save it as <u>.sc</u>.

and how to change it into .sc ?
