NEED HELP! i really got some Video problems!

i wanted to play Gta3. and it said this game needs 12mb of video memory.. it worked before so i tryd another game. it sayd cannot create d3d device. then i whas checking the directx on monitor.. it said it couldnt find the video memory. and i wanted to reinstall NVIDIA.. and it said in 14% that the nvidia needed a DIGITAL SIGN! ( dutch word for digitale handtekening ) and whit a sign i mean. like when you get mail ( real mail on your house ) and you need to write your sign.. like DB ( domien brandsma my name ) ... i dont Know what the problem is! but i try to translate what it says:


The digital sign of microsoft confirms that this software is tested in windows and that this software isnt changed.

the software that you want to install doesnt has any digital sign. thats why we are not sure that this software will work whit windows. (and whit my case IT DOESNT)

nvidia geforce2 GTS/geforce pro

if you want to look for the software whit a microsoft digital sign. you need to visit the www.windowsupdate.microsoft.com site. from there you can see if there is a digital sign is.


and another problem. i cant find it on that site! I really need help!!
*and i even downloaded lastest patch for nvidia*

*PS! even if i press OK or continue the error WILL remain in windows. and i cant play any higher then 16Mt memory games!!

met mijn geforce doet ie het gewoon miscien is de jouwe kapot, heb je daar al aan gedacht?? of je virtual memory verhogen mischien helpt dat

for the english people with the same problem:

with mine geforces it works, maybey yours is broken, ever thought of that?? or increase your virtual memory, mabey that helps

i dont think my geforce is broken. it seems i can play the VIETCONG game whit the 3d card.. there is just something wrong whit the memory.. i just deleted windows2000. and i will try again now

English: file nv4_disp.dll is not digital signed. that means it cant be tested by microsoft windows hardware quality labs ( WHQL ) you can sign WHQL by the maker of this hardware.

Go to www.nvidia.com ,
select "Drivers" in the top menu.

There is an Option for "Windows 2000/XP Graphics Drivers" click that.
