NEED BIG ASS HELP!!!!

Hi, I jst bought Half-Life and I dont want to **** this up.
I just installed it and now i want to download ESF
Please someone tell me step by step how to set ESF up, PLEASE TELL ME AS SIMPLY AS POSSIBLE!

sure ill try to help

1)Install half life
2)go to www.steampowered.com and download "Steam"
3)Install Steam and run it (you have to make an account with your cdkey)
4)Run Half Life once
5)Restart Steam (i needed to do it, cos i got some problems >.<)
6)Make sure steam has updated, so it knows where half life is
7)Install esf 1.2.3
8)If im right thats everything that you needed to do, if im not right...well u can slap me

doesn't matter
aslong if you can find it after you downloaded it
so you can start the installations

it would be smart to put it on your desktop, makes things easier to find
