Of course Jiraya is going to die, i though he was about to die after his last talk with Tsunade. But i wonder what kind of badass that Tobi is, if he plans on taking the whole Konoha elite team by himself? But then again if he really is Obito(like many people have predicted), i wonder if it will turn into 1 on 1 with Kakashi...

Oh, and i almost forgot mention... Ultimate Rasengan was god damn ridicilous, period.

'tis puzzling indeed, but if Jiraya dies, that might ignite something in Naruto, and he'd go kicking some "chosen" ass - 'twould be an interesting twist.

Spoilers The latest chapter didn't really impress me much. It was surprising, that part about all the six forms of Pain being shinobi that Jiraiya has met over the years. Would that mean that the real Pein isn't Nagato or yahiko at all?

All I can say is that I'm very confused with all the stuff that's going on. I wish they just stuck to one story instead of having 3 things going on at once.

spoliers: The whole Tobi thing...did Naruto go through[/] him?? WTF is that about? And the whole thing about him being Obito or Madara also confuses the hell out of me. Just say who he is already damnit! Although I do still think he is Obito.

The Jiraya vs. Pein thing is just starting to get annoying. I can't wait for the Sasuke vs. Itachi fight though. And predictions???

Pein could be Yahiko, or Nagato, perhaps he's just using another body to attempt to defeat Jiraya. I personally think that Naruto will eventually jump in the fight and beat the **** out of all the bodies Pein has with his demon form.

I think he really went through him and that it's some kind of ability.
And I don't think that tobi is obito, I guess people think that because he looks a bit similar.
People also thought that the leader of Akatsuki is the Yondaime (forgot his real name again xD) because he looked similar.

And to that whole Pain thingy:
I think that Pain can somehow completely control somebody, like splitting his "essence" or how you'd call it and spread it over severral bodies.
(that would explain why all of them have the Rinnegan)
I also think that one of those bodies is Yahiko, and that he still has his original Nagato body somewhere (as a last resort, or his ultimate form).
I think the fight between pain and Jiraiya is a bit dragged out, but I'm curious what the real abilities of those eyes are,
and how Nagato manages to have so many bodies that won't die.

Well I'm assuming that the rinengan is the predecessor of the sharingan and byakugan, since Jiraya said it was the most powerful eye technique. I really don't think that Pain has used it's full potential yet.

I also don't think tobi is obito, other than the fact we only ever see one eye from his mask thing, I don't see any other evidence to suggest obito somehow survived having a boulder dropped on his face, then surviving as a ****ty ninja with one eye to steal madara's sharingan powers from somewhere. It's all kind of up in the air really.

I'm of the opinion tobi is uchiha madara who has gained eternal life somehow (maybe something similar to what orochimaru was doing) Jiraiya speculated that the kyuubi's appearance wasn't coincidence and that madara might have summoned it. Which I'm not sure of the timeline, but was probably before the Gaiden events happened.

Jiraiya vs. Pein, I didn't really wanna believe it, Jiraiya being all kinds of awesome, but it looks like he's died this time, unless somebody is around that can cure a slit throat. I also would like to believe that Naruto is somehow involved in the prophecy as a student of Jiraiya and will right the wrongs or something.

Spoliers: But it was said that the 1st or 2nd Hokage killed Madara at the place where Sasuke and Naruto fought. And madara looks huge compared to Tobi, that's why I think Tobi is Obito.

Also the Kyubi was definitely after Gaiden...if it was before there wouldn't be a 4th to train Kakashi, Tobi, and that other bish.

OMG! We finally saw Kushino! And they named Naruto after the protagonist in Jiraiya's book! Jiraiya!!! Don't you die just yet!! (Ya, he's still not dead )

Jiraiya will die in five minutes He'll just send the two frogs to tell everything about Pein. I hope they wont tell Naruto what happened, since they already know what the outcome will be :devil:
