My only doubt is what will happen after Guy opens it. How will it look? Will he be able to avoid death afterwards? Will Rock Lee not open it too or at least support Guy? I really hope this event does not disappoint me.

Well, yeah obviously but what I mean is that how will GUY look? Because after he opened the 7th Gate, his face looked completely berserk and his body overwhelmed by power.
Not to mention the new techniques he acquires because from the different source of power (pure physical energy or something) that can easily beat any chakra technique.
I'm just wondering what kind of technique will he be able to pull out, or will the 8th Gate simply be used for pure Taijutsu? That's what I'm actually wondering.

Also, I still have faith on Rock Lee that's why I'm hoping he does something neat too. We haven't seen much of him ever since Shippuuden started...

Welll, Naruto loves doing some plot twists very often. And since it's been mentioned since forever that the 8th Gate will bring you death, I'm kind of expecting a twist here.

Other than to prevent the fans from feeling sad, why would the 8th gate not kill him? I think it would be pretty dumb to not have him die from something that is expected to happen, just to prevent a certain reaction from the fans.

As much as I loved Neji, I don't want him and whoever else is going to die back, too much happy ending bs in one show. Remember how Gaara died ? I mean sure you can smell it a mile away when Chiyo tagged along that she's there to revive him some way or the other, but dayum I was hoping he'd stay dead for Naruto to become even stronger...and more serious...and finally smack that ***** across the face ...YES I MEAN SAKURA.

Yeah, I'm convinced Naruto doesn't have too many original ideas. I've personally noticed that Shippuden's caused the series to have an uncanny resemblance to .hack//G.U., which is superficial at best and blaringly obvious at worst.

That's always been my thought. I always hated how Shippuuden lost the original Naruto's touch. New weird, unexplained jutsus started to appear. Many unnecessary plot twists like Itachi's good side, the Kyuubi's good side, Nagato good's side... -_-

I really loved that cruel part on Naruto that after 130 episodes one of the main characters turned evil, I think that's what gave Naruto the fame it has right now. That kind of plot is what Shippuuden is missing right now...

Yeah i agree with you guys. I still like Shippuuden but it's true that it could have been better than this.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks this. I prefer Shippuden's darker side compared to the pre-timeskip, but overall I prefer the original series over everything else.
