I don't know where the anime left off, but I would imagine it's better now than having fillers appear during a moment like this when it catches up to the manga.

In anime they're still fighting reanimated ninjas. Unlimited possibilities for fillers. Naruto still hasn't brofisted Kurama, and Sasuke still hasn't fought Kabuto.

As for this being the last major battle, yes. But perhaps not the last battle.

I usually watch the Anime after it is pretty far off from the start. I stopped when Sasuke was fighting Deidara.

If you think about it, the anime could still easily catch up to the manga decently fast. I think it's good that they're still doing fillers.

It's good but i can't watch that anymore. I just can't.
Maybe it's because i picked up Naruto(anime) in high-school.... i was still a kid. Anyway...the manga i can still follow.

Same for me Tenzo. I started reading Shippuden when the Sasuke Deidara fight started. Funny how I ended off there on the anime too.

Apparently it was a pending issue. Sakura's powerlessness that is. And frankly i like her better now since she can do something else than just heal.

I just hope she didn't used up her 3 years of chakra she saved up in 1 single blow.

No, it seems that people are thinking that the mark she got just meant that she's finally gotten 3 years of chakra stored, and she isn't using it yet. The extra strength she's acquired now is from not having to charge and focus on that chakra anymore. She's at her 100% now, + the chakra reserve. If you remember, Tsunade gets markings on her head when she uses the two different jutsus that needs that chakra. So the explanation for Sakura's current strength is that she's been hindered this whole time due to focusing her chakra for 3 years, even during other battles, and now doesn't need to do that anymore.

But that is just a theory.

Well considering she still had that mark after she landed that hit, then I'd assume that she still has that power left to last her a fair bit.

Not really sure why they are trying to make Sakura special, she has no bloodline limit and no special lineage. Should have just left it at Sasuke and Naruto being the special ones; Sakura is just your typical love portion of any storyline. I always thought the reason Tsunade could use that stuff was because of her Senju lineage, having such special vitality, but now Sakura is making giant summons as well? Unnecessary =/ Would have been happier had Tsunade returned instead, and summoned the slug...

Tsunade (along with the other 2 legendary Senins, Jiraiya and Orochimaru) never had any special ability to begin with. Tsunade was just one of the best healers back when she was young and she developed a technique so she wasn't completely useless in combat as a healer. Every skill, every technique that Tsunade has shown and taught so far are not even close to being Bloodlines or for high-stamina users only, they're just really hard to master and Sakura spent years training to be able to do so.

I agree with Deathshot and Henry. That seems to be the case. As you can see not just Sakura obtained power-ups, other teams got something too.
Nice chapter anyway.

Indeed. I can't wait for next chapter. Maybe Naruto and Sasuke will have a team up attack like they did against Zabuza with the Shadow Clone or something.
