I would imagine that suppressing and controlling the demon fox's chakra requires a significant amount of chakra itself. So, I can see how Naruto would be stronger if he didn't have the demon fox inhabiting his body if that was the case. But stronger than the demon fox? Probably not.

Naruto doesn't need to suppress the nine-tails chakra, that's what the seal is for even if it is wearing off. Naruto has learned to control it to an extent, but he doesn't need to suppress it himself. And when it seems like he has run out of chakra, it seems like some of the nine-tails chakra is converted into his own so he can keep going. At least that's what I think goes on inside of him.

As the seal weakens, it's effect lessens - thus the easier it is for the demon fox to gain control over Naruto and break free. At the start of the series, it was easy for Naruto to lose control, often engulfed by the demon fox's chakra and influence. However, as the series progressed he learned how to better suppress the demon fox's influence (despite the presence of a seal) and draw chakra from it at will without losing control.

But that's just my understanding, of course.

It never seemed like he got training or at least learned how to suppress the chakra, although neither of us may be right and it may be a completely different story.

I'm pretty sure Jiraiya explained it before I think it was when he was trying to teach Naruto to use the Kyuubi's chakra. He said that Naruto's chakra automatically suppresses the fox's chakra because of the seal. But because the seal is weakening, it's harder for his chakra to suppress the fox's so the fox sort of possesses him and the more tails he has the more powerful the fox is and the less Naruto is in control.

Yeah... It requires more self-control for him to suppress the Kyuubi now!
Maybe that's what the hermit training is for; who knows!
Anyway,comparing him to Pein, he's not strong enough...

I wonder if there's a way of getting rid of the fox without Naruto dieing. I remember having a dream where Naruto is alot stronger and fights Kyuubi inside of his mind where the seal is.

I'm kinda trusting the anime more then what you think what happens.
it's not control, it's fighting it.

Just re-read the manga and find out for yourself, don't make silly opinion based posts while facts are in the manga. that's silly

Well there are some theories , that say Kakashi might have copyied Chiyo's tehnique when she revived Gaara since his sharingan was activated.

By what facts? I haven't read anywhere he copied it.

Perhaps he had his sharingan on the whole time, but he can't copy all techniques. The 8 gates for example of both lee and guy.

Since Sasuke could keep the Kyuuby at bay, maybe it's has something to do with the sharingan. We know that Kakashi can send ppl into another dimension with his eye, who knows what Sasuke's can do.

That was uncalled for, and if you want me to re-read the entire manga then that's even more ridiculous then what I said. Maybe if you weren't such an ******* about it and actually gave me specific chapters to read it would be easier Mr. Naruto specialist guy.

He can copy all tehniques unless the tehnique he wants to copy is a Kekkei Genkai(Bloodline limit). He couldn't copy the gate thing because opening a gate is not a tehnique. It's just a feat that you can reach if you train long enough or if someone teaches you how to. Chyio's tehnique was neither a kekkei genkai or a gate case. So yeah it could be copyied , since the sharingan can perceive and copy , taijutsu,ninjutsu and genjutsu. Except for kekkei genkai.

Oh man, natual energy training! Naruto was told to become one with the nature That's prolly impossible for him. He must die? WTF? Wont he lose the Kyuubi if he dies?

If he becomes one with the nature he wont be the same again. Maybe somewhat calmer not so hyperactive Would be better.

I can't imagine Naruto as a sage... I'm sorry, i tried, but i just can't :/
