Yeah, that makes sense. Only if Obito didn't die about 15 years before he got the mangekyou sharingan. Why didnt he get the mangekyo sharingan earlier?

that makes sense too, but i think he learned the magekyou sharingan just like any normal uchiha clan member would get his sharingan. you have to be in a life threatening situation. this is probobly wrong but it makes the most sense. or maybe he learned it from itachi, and was different because he saw his best friend die, he didn't kill them himself
