There was a thread about this rad ass looking game a few months ago. And since they've just released a new trailer for it, I thought I should bring it back up again.

Apparantly the story goes like this:

"The game takes place in the year 20xx. The world (whatever world this is) is being disrupted by some sort of time/space disruption. To take care of this, a government organization called Shinra is created. The two main characters, Shaomu and Reiji, are part of this group.

As the two head to Tokyo to investigate, a sudden disruption causes KOS-MOS, M.O.M.O., Shion, and the Gnosis from Xenosaga to appear in their world. This is where everything begins - from then on, Shaomu and Reiji travel through various portals, entering many different worlds and meeting up with Namco and Capcom characters."

I don't even know how to explain the game. Some sort of strategic rpg/fighting hybrid or something. But whatever it is, it looks absolutely ****ing awesome. And I just hope to god that they bring it over to north america (well, unless it blows, then it can stay in japan, but hopefully it wont come to that).

Anyways, what's your guy's thoughts on it? Anyone as totally stoked for it as I am?

That does look amazing. I really hope it'll come to the States, so I can at least rent it. I don't think there ever has been a genre like this, either way it looks friggen cool. Also quite possibly the coolest group of characters all in one game.... ever.

For second I thought it was another Capcom versus game when I read the title...

Imagine Tekken, Soul Calibur & Other Namco characters in 2D (That girl from Ridge Racer could have a Super Move where she tramples the enemy by calling out a bunch of cars :LOL. Man that would be tight...

I love the soundtrack so far... *drools*

But yeah, this game will pwn if it comes to the U.S.

It's like Final Fantasy meets Capcom/Namco.
