my computer crashes

i try to start a game it say half life has commited an illegal operation

are you using Steam or won ? Have you tried reinstalling half-life or esf ?

i cant use steam it says my cd key is not valid it wont even try to load a windows error screen comes up and closes the progam and i already tried to reinstall everything

ESF is not designed for WON ussage. You nead STEAM.

So i guess youll have to buy a new HL1.
