My cable modem is messed up!!!

For some reason My cable modem (Charter Communications) is messed up!! There are 4 lights Power,PC,Data,and cable. For some reason the cable and data lights blink for a few seconds then the turn off!!! then that makes me not beable to use the internet!!! Why does this happen? and if you know please post a reply on how to fix it! I called tech support but they say its fine!! BUT ITS NOT!! please!! help!!!! I have win ME if you need to know

if you live near new york they are changing some cable channels come january and that might be effecting it, if not call a dude to come over your house and he will fix it

unplug your modem for an hours and then plug it back in


un plug everything from it and let it sit

Phone bill wir a Cable modem?

It could be because of many things with the little information you provided, and even if you had more info I doubt anyone here can fix it, you sould go to an IT or internet forum or even better contact a professional.

I did contact charter!! They said everything was find , No speed errors or anything.They said if nothings broke they cant do anything about it
