MP3? where? how?

my mp3 player wont play and i even tried the trouble shooting fix and even still it wont work... any tips?

well i installed it then when i played no music played so i made a mp3 list. but when i get in game and bring up the mp3 player menu nothing happens i can click on the buttons but nothing plays.. so i got on the trouble shooting forum and found out what to do (copy the fmod.dll to the halflife dir) so i did that and still no music...

make sure the music files were mp3 files and there is a playlisteditor and sometimes like band mp3s they dont work all time mostly just the alpha mp3s work with beta..

i tried those also... no music plays... i cant even select a playlist to play either....
