Recently I've been getting a problem with my mouse. It would disconnect and play the USB unplug sound, then reconnect and play another sound. Occasionally it'd stay disconnecting for long periods, or never reconnect again unless I unplug it and reconnect it manually.
At first I figured it was a hardware issue, maybe my mouse was acting up or the usb ports were messed up. So I tried other ports, only to yield the same result. However, on another computer, my mouse works flawlessly. I've done everything I could think of, but to no avail. I even reformatted my computer once, and thought it fixed the problem as my mouse worked fine for a few days, but then the issues started to pop up again.
I've tried googling for a fix, and found many with the same problems as I, but no solutions. So if anyone could help me, that would be greatly appreciated.
I'm running on Windows XP if that's of any importance.
