This happened to me when i was trying to edit some models and add them to esf 1.2.3 :p.My char was at one corner of the map and his head animations was to the opposit corner of the map :)

Thats because you cant just stick a head from one char to another. And even worse if you try to copy the skeliton over. In the end you need to rerig it. Be it the entire model to the new skeliton or just the head to the old one.
