Missing Sprite?

Ok, I just finished one problem (The missing voice sprite)

Now, whenever I load up a map after creating a game, I get a pop-up saying

"Counterstike Launcher has encountered a problem and needs to close. Sorry for the enconvience."

How do I fix this? I've searched everywhere for a solution, but to no avail, help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

I have man, got the most recent...

It only happens with the ESF MOD, not with normal Counter-Strike, any other MOD... I tried on CS AND Half-Life, get the same problem

took me ages on my 56k, I used DAP too...

I'll guess I'll just wait for the update or something

Are you sure its a missing sprite and not a missing .wav? Sprites are, to my knowledge, object animations-- not sound clips (if this voice 'sprite' u are talking about is a sound clip). If you have the v1.0 of esf and tried to update it with the 1.1 patch, you may have just downloaded a corrupt patch. Your best bet is to DL the full 1.1 version straight from esf so you don't get a bunked version.

does it come up as a warning saying Mod_NumForName: sprites/voiceicon.spr not found becaus tat has happened to m every EVERY SINGLE TIME! ;( ;( ;(

I just got half-life today so i installed it, then i installed ESF and when I try to go on LAN it says Mod_NumForName: sprites/voiceicon.spr is missing, so do I need to download it somewhere? And I know LAN is only for the connection in my house, I want to play agaisnt my brother. So, does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Thanks, but when I go to the update thingy on the menu for half life it says my internet connetion isn't working. But I'm on this forum while its saying that

dont use the auto updater
go to fileplanet.com or sumthing and download hl 1.1.1.0 full odate or cs 1.5 full update

I installed it, and now when I go to create a LAN game it clicks off ESF and goes to my desktop...

if u didnt uninstall esf befor the patch that might be the problem

reinstall esf or uninstall hl and reinstall it, patch it ,then install esf

Its a pretty old game you cant expect too much from it.
