MGS2 and FF10

really great games for the psx2. i love it. both of them. if you have a psx2 these games are worth it

Already have them both. They're both pretty good, but FF10 is straying too far from what I like.
FF7 will forever remain my favorite one.

Don't forget GTA3. It ranks up there with those two.
Also, can't forget the upcoming State of Emergency. Made by Rockstar....they made GTA3.
Basically, the gameplay takes place in the middle of a riot.
Should be fun.

ima tell u right here ladies and gentelmen GRAPHICS CANNOT CARRY A GAME i dont care what name u bear wether its final fantasy or tekken if the story is BS or the gam play sucks its not ganna do well. On a side note if i buy FF10 and it turns out like FF8 im ganna go into the store i bought it from toss at the guy and knock all the games off the shelf and leave.

But....nobody ever mentioned graphics at all.
These games are good, not only because of their graphics, but because they're FUN TO PLAY. MGS2 has terrific gameplay. The Metal Gear series has had great gameplay since it's NES days. GTA3 is one of the most addictive games for the PS2 I've played. The GAMEPLAY draws you into the game, the graphics pull you into its world.

FF10 is much better than 8, but it still falters somewhat. I'd still buy it, but if you don't like it, be mature about it. Don't attempt to assault somebody that had nothing to do with the game.

It wouldn't be the cashier's fault that sqaure made a bad game.

the whole "toss it at the guy" thing kinda seems like you're going to throw it at him, which could be considered assault.

SInce you'd be assaulting him with the game.

f ff10 is like ff8, then u should bury 400ft in to the earth and put a warning sign over it incase anyone digs it up.

FF10 is nothing like the other ff games

It doesnt have the Active Time Battle system anymore.

Now, it has a strategic turn-based system desgined by the guy that worked on the battle engine for Front Mission 3.

Plus, you don't level up as you used to.
you fight to get ability points to gain ability levels.
you use those levels to move around on a board that lets you choose abilitys, attacks and upgrades.


Kinda hard to explain, but once you try it, you'll understand.
Almost forgot, it also have voice-acting for the very first time.
But, because of this, the plot is pretty linear until the very end of the game, where you get to go on the little side-quests that we all love.
