I loved them all, but substance, havent tried it, loved every other metal gear solid tho, the very first one kicked ass, it got my vote

OMG i can´t believe u guys, mgs2 sucks ass. You can´t even call it a game, it just a movie. With cutscenes as much as you play. MGS, is perfect though. :yes:

MGS is the best one, must have completed it at least a dozen times on all difficulty levels. MGS:Missions is good if u really like MGS, i got it and liked it, u need patience for it as well. i voted MGS 1 btw.

Putting C4 on the guards backs and blowing up 3 guards in a row is the best thing in the game. plotline was very good as well.

I dont care what anyone says, Im unstoppable in MGS.
The first day I got MGS I already unlocked all the secrets
and the 2nd day I got the alternate ending. And I always start
console games on a hard difficulty. MGS2 was a bit tuff on Extreme
mode though but I still found alternate way of defeating my enemies.

Olga: She killed me like 2 times before I got her on extreme mode.
Fortune: Evade, Evade, Evade. Not really hard.
Fat Man: Plant Claymore's Around the Area While
Vamp: Killed me about 5 times before I could kill him, I sorta did the
claymore strategy on him too.
Meta Gear Ray Units: You acctually had to defeat all 25. It took me a while!
Solidus: I just hung around the side of the building and got up before
he tried to hit me.

At first on MGS, I didn't think I'd like it so... I rented it and in three days I beat it in Easy. Then I got it for my birthday, and beat it in Medium, then Hard. I still haven't beat it in Very Hard.

mgs2 was pointless so freaking boring and waaaaay too easy
however, mgs waaaaaas sooo mcuh fun i loved it where it lacked in gtraphics it made up in great gameplay and awesome plot.

MGS 2 in my personal opinion was way better than MGS.
The storyline is so fricken strong. Talks about politics and theory's
on the government and all this crap. I cant wait for a MGS3. The
only thing I hated about MGS2 is the fact that Solid Snake wasn't
really a main character. In all Metal Gear games Solid Snake was
always the main character. But you just played with him in the tanker
which can acctually be beaten in less than 12-13 minutes if your
that fast. But the rest, its all about Raiden and how he turned into
the next solid snake and all this crap.

Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance (the xbox version) is definately the best one. 2nd is the version on PS2 (only difference being graphics). It's impossible to say MSG2 is better tahn substance, since they are the same game except Substance has a bunch of VR missions and other extras. thats it is it the best.

MGS2 was a VERY good game. It is easily in the the top 3 PS2 games. But its still has nothing on MGS. MGS had the VR training, the secret tape things, 2 endings and loads of other cool stuff. Now i think MGS2: S is gonna change all that. Theyre gonna give all the secrets to MGS2. So when it comes out for PS2 it will be the best MGS game. But until that moment MGS is the best.

MGS2, I think, is the best MGS game. There is no reason to it, I just like it better.

I love MGS.....i havent played 2 but im sure it kicks ass
ass for substanance i think microsoft pulled a cheap stunt making that and should be thrown off a building for it.
VR on the other hand is cool cuz you get to be Grey Fox =)
