Work on your timing, or try this, just before the person swooping at you hits you (about 2 seconds before collision) Teleport to the left or right of him and hit him in his back. Or work on your timing such as holding block till he hits you (just before he does- let go of block) And hit him back.....dont do it too much, its very annoying. Heres a fun thing to do...land on the ground and start running backwards w/ turbo on. When the enemy swoops at you, jump up (about 2 seconds before) and swoop down on him and smash him into the ground!
