Melee Combat

I had a question about all of the possible melee attacks...
other than punching/kick or flying and doing a either, i was wondering if it would be possible to grab an enemies limb spin them and throw them earth bound...
well from watching the series this melee strategy tends to happen alot, that and grabing an opponent and flying them upside down into the ground.
I was just wondering if those have been considered, and if it would even be possible to do.

I think it is an awesome idea, since I myself has suggested this before . But supposedly it is impossible with the Half Life engine.

Sounds cool and dosent sound imposible.......suppose u could grab them then turn the mouse constanly....but it would get annoying after awhile........oh well
