Yeah, I couldn't think of a better title. Anway, if you fly to the very top of a map or very bottom then half of the map is gone. Objects and stuff are still there but the map isn't. This could be an effect of the draw distance, but I don't know much about the half-life engine.

Zero descovered how to fix it, but by the time he figured that out it was too close to release. If you go to the map esf_riverside you will see it doesnt have that bug ( only map he got to fix ).
Im pretty sure this will be fixed in the upcomming patch

When you fly into the skybox, yes the world disappears. It only draws the entities at that point, which are the objects you see. I never really thought of it as a bug though :p

Agreed. I noticed that it is quite difficult to fire a beam attack while standing on the ground. You can fire it up at someone, but firing it parallel to the ground is hard. It will blow up in your face. :D

yeah the sky thing .. it's a half life bug i belive ..

but hey .. how do you fix it??? tell us tell us!!!! :talk:

i noticed the same thing happenes in dmz .. when ur up high (in the sky !! I ryhm :p ) ur beams blow in ur face!!!
also when ur on the ground beams blow you up (they hit the ground, then blow right in ur face!) while in DBZ they don't blow if they hit the ground like that .. i mean they don't even hit the ground .. like when gohan killed cell .. the power struggly between them got too big .. it hit the ground, but it didn't blow up! instead it just "digged" the ground .. anyway .. i think this can be fixed like this:

there should be an angle where it doesn't blow up .. like if it hits the ground parallerly (err .. don't know how to spell that .. or even to pronounce it :p) like if it hits it with an angle of 20 degrees it doesn't blow up .. but if the angle is grateor than 20 degrees then it does blow up ..

i am not sure you understand .. my english just suck!!!

ok .. like when u try to walk on the mountain (in riverside) if the mountain is too steep you can't walk on it .. but if it's not too steep then you can walk on it! i think the angle there is 45 .. so if it's angle with the ground is less than 45 then you can walk no prblem .. if it's bigger than 45 you can't walk ..

i am not sure you get what i am trying to say
