Dude, you can make a lot more than just coke can bombs... They tell you how to get companies like SBC and AT&T to on its knees. And I got the plans for that bomb from the book man. Cant wait to build it. Just need access to some drano and a couple of M-80s.

Thats why god gave me two.

But yeah... Ima making a blackpowder bomb (500g) and im putting that into a 5l fuel tank filled with napalm. Im using a battery detonator aswell. Should be fun.

btw.. thats probably blow away more the just my hand..

How do you make your Napalm? I just take styrofoam and dissolve that in gasoline until I am left with a sticky paste.

And Im having.... thoughts about this H-bomb. Im not sure how big the blast is, and should I detonate it on the ground or in the sky?

Styrofoam ftw!! It does take a lot though, especially for 5l. Luckly I work at a shop and we use a lot of styrofoam.

For "show" detonate in the sky. Id suggest doing it on the ground though. Its a bit safer since you dont know the exact blast radius. I always do big bombs in a sand area (away from a tree next time...) and 15-30cm into the ground when Im not in a very "safe" area. That way it forces some of the blast straight up and keeps some of the crap contained.

*btw: Im not sure if we can talk about making napalm and advice on how to detonate. So before we go ahead I think a mod should first give the go ahead or the close.

agreed, we will stay away from there until a mod answers...

and anyone else have an opinion on this site? I thought it was pretty funny... and educational. I never knew that you could hit weapons grade Uranium-235 with a hammer and it wouldnt detonate.

I don't think you should be talking about assembling bombs or how to make one. It's kind of ironic that today is April 20th, the day the Columbine incident happened and your discussing making bombs.

Anyway, the article that was posted did have a lot of actual referrences to the materials needed for a hydrogen bomb, so I thought that was interesting.

How do you think nuclear weapons work? You think you could just smack the nose end of the missile with a mallet or something and destroy a city? It's a complex process involving fusion and fission and all of that junk, set off by an internal mechanism long before it hits the ground. This isn't TNT or something, not even in the same ballpark. How exactly is that going to work out with an M80 and Draino again?

And what does that have to do with messing with phone companies...?

I know that Hitokiri, I know a bit about nuclear weapons.

And as for the H-bomb (Hindenburg bomb, I call it a hydrogen bomb). Apparently, as said by the Anarchists cookbook, that if you fill a 2 liter bottle with drano and add some tinfoil, a chemical reaction will take place, creating pure hydrogen. After you put the tinfoil in, you put a balloon over the bottle opening.

The balloon will fill up with Hydrogen, and then when it is full, you tie the balloon shut. Then with a long fuse explosive, you let the balloon float up into the sky (because Hydrogen is lighter than oxygen) and then BANG!!! the explosive goes off, the balloon pops and the Hydrogen explodes (because hydrogen is highly explosive when in the presence of oxygen). It's supposed to be like the Hindenburg explosion, hence the name the "Hindenburg bomb".

And messing with phone companies... reread my post again. It'll tell you.

if it werent for the fact that your obviously not serious about doing this, id close the thread.

as for detonation, the most effective detonation of a nuclear weapon, would be about a half mile above ground.

hydrogen, is also highly combustable OUTSIDE the presence of oxygen, the explosion however, isnt all that big, and is incredibly fast, chances are, with a balloon full of hydrogen your likely maybe to see a small flame at the most.

which is completely different from the fusion reaction which takes place in a nuclear blast.

Ah poopie! I was hoping for a bigger explosion than just a small, fast flame in the sky. I guess that means that I am gonna need a bigger balloon. :D

And I am serious about making this "Hindenburg bomb" but I am not make an actual Hydrogen Thermonuclear Fusion bomb... although... It would be nice. ;)

the hindenburg was a zeppelin, hardly a bomb... it was just filled with hydrogen and ignited by a spark. i wouldnt say it really went bang either, it just kinda went up in flames.

Ohhhhh. See, when I see "H-Bomb" and "Hydrogen Bomb" I think of WMDs, not that stuff ;P

It's worth a try if you've got the stuff. My chem teacher a few years back did it for the class once, I think. Filled a balloon with hydrogen, turned off all the lights, then poked it I think with a meter stick (the tip was on fire I believe). Loud boom, some fire, but not too dangerous.
