Major ki blasts.

In the anime, The Z-fighters could make their blasts inhumanly big (super duper duper strong) and so concentrated that it would kill anyone that was near the explosion.

I suggest that It should be in esf as well.

Every character's major blasts should have a huge charge meter
(as wide as the screen) and there should be lines (about, maybe 5) in each level of the charge meter.

of course, It isn't allowed (or even possible) for any z fighter (or enemy fighter) to be able to pull of a fully charged attack in a low power level, no sir. I'm just saying that those who worked hard to get it (about 20,000,000 mil. power level) would be able to use thier blast at the fullest extent. (as wide as the screen)
and fire a huge blast, killing anything in its blast radius.

of course, it can't blast the entire map, maybe just a little quarter of it or so. OR it could be Just a bigger blast rafius than normal,
BUT it could kill ANYONE who are in it.

Anybody can blast the beams at full potential, but only as high as the powerlevel goes, meaning Goku can blast a kamehameha, w/ the power of a 1,400,000 pl blast, if the power level was 1,400,000. And of course, The normal charge time of the kamehameha of normal goku (750,000) would go about, 1/4 of a level 1 kamehame blast, while a chou kamehame ha, (ssj goku at about, 3,500,000) would be 1 level.
That means you can still have fun, even if you reach ssj level 1
Trying to reach the full potential of your blast (17,500,000= would be 5 levels if you charge at full power, but when the charge meter is at full, then your power level would be at 0, and that would be a problem. that means you need a pl higher than that if you wish to be able to use your most powerful kamehame ha and still have some power left.)

AND also, The full power charge up depends on the power level of the person. ex:
Goku - fully charged kamehameha-17,500,000 that would be 5 levels
Vegita - fully charged FF- 14,000,000 5 levels (since the ff is stronger than goku's kamehame ha, this is kind of an equalizer)

You could have some REAL fun blasting and competing w/ beams (ps) and of course, your opponents.

If this works with the negative ki bar suggestion, you could blast anybody at your fullest pl extent (if you had 700,000 then you will blast a 700,000 blast) but at the cost of life.

Major ki attacks that can be used at their fullest extent

Goku's kamehame ha
Vegeta's Final flash
Frieza's deathball
Buu's mouthblast
Cell's kamehame ha
Krillin's scatter beam
Gohan's kamehame ha
Picollo's makankossopo (the demon drill beam thing)

phew.. this is my second idea and it's quite diff. from the other beam idea's.

If you didn't understand it, just tell me, and I'll redo it for ya.

ehhh....ever heard off the word spammage??

thats why charging a full blast would be impossible in only a few seconds.
It takes a friggin long time. Imagine the time it takes for goku to charge a kamehame ha... now times that about 20 times.. there you have it!

EDIT: oh yeah, bigger beams = harder aiming. If my suggestion is implemented I'm sure people would have a hard time trying to cheese this move.

(I'm really sorry for double-posting, it seems that my edit button stopped working) And besides, getting killed by a Person w/ a real high energy level? That could boost your pl up a notch you know..

the higher your powerlevel is the bigger is the blast radius (you could say that your idea is already done)! and killing everyone in that radius would just suck, because it's not DBZ-like....

they could always make it a concentrated beam (It has a medium blast radius but the full beam would kill anyone IN the blast radius. not out. But if your opponent has a pl higher than yours there is a chance he will only take huge damage, but will not die

The blasts that can kill a lotta guys in one shot, like I said, willl take a lot of time. Because as you enter another level at the charge meter, Your power would have to go to the required blast line (the green line thing) SO even if you get to level 4, If it is below the green line, it wont work. (don't mess up I guess...) BUT this is, just a suggestion. If you don't like it, fine. but you have gotta put up a good reason why this can't be put in and stuff.

i think that would slow down the gameplay! everyone would stand in a corner and charge his attack....

ehh.. I think not. w/ all the new advanced melee and stuff coming out? And besides, anybody w/ half a brain would realize that they need to bust a few skulls to be able to get pl. I'm just putting in this suggestion to be able to stop ppl. from getting bored and realize that there's more to gaining pl than just ssj. (and no.. even w/ this thing put in nobody would just stand in a corner and charge. a little strategy would be needed here.. remember your scouter's?)

There already are attacks which can - at some higher pl - blow up most of the map (SB, khh, FF, BB, ...)
Something even bigger would not be good, since everyone with about 10hp or less would just get out of danger and charge something like this and get five frags for it:(

Personally waht i find is that the beam attacks should blow up @ al like kamehameha and FF they nearly never do that in the dbz series blowing it up on earth, they push it through the enemy vaporising him, instead of recoding use gib, when beam is used on the foe you wanted to kill its gone, simpel, no exploisions no spamming naabs, and a true 1v1 giver.

Wouldn't this defeat the point of power struggles, since you would have no ability to go into turbo mode or push in extra ki since you spent all your ki on the attack.

That would be, only IF you would spend your all into that attack. Besides, If you were vegeta and your power level is 16,000,000, then you have reached the max potential of your blast and still be able to push it in power struggles.. and I like FV's suggestion. maybe you could choose, from an explosive attack (big bang, finishing buster), to a vaporizing attack (kamehame ha and Final flash)

The explosive attack would have a blast radius, and a vaporizing attack will, w/ enough power, be able to vaporize an opponent (but no blast radius) that would make the gameplay MUCH better, and you could just soften the damage of the explosive attacks. A weak vaporing attack, will not be able to kill an opponent w/ one shot, but he will get some good damage. (This would make block struggles MUCH cooler) And hey, this idea is unique! And it would make the game MUCH more fun to play around in
(I just hate it when one guy is trying to block a final flash but he didn't make it and it would make a HUGE explosion, killing everyone in sight) great suggestion, FV!

Yeah i agree when there is a struggle going on the person that loses should be the one to pay the cost. and in the shows this is done by the beam shooting through them, not exploding on them. Ther eis nothing wrong with the beams exploding as they do now, especially when they are hitting the skys or ground, but in a struggle it should be worked differently. Almost as if the beam detachs from the victor and shoots off through the loser.

And this idea is ok too. You have vast amounts of power at your disposal, but it is up to you as to how much you use. The only problem is that even if you did make the attacks so they didnt blow up big hurting/killing everything it touches, (like making a vaporizing beam style) it would still get spammed to the hell hole. It might take 1 min to store up, but it is a huge amount of damage being done. It only takes 5 secs to totally refuel that ki. So every 1 min 5 secs a player will spam off a huge shot. 2 players = 32.5 secs, 3 = 21 secs, 4 = 16secs and so on.

It might make for better power struggles, but it is also more complex a system than what ESF has at the moment. Maybe they are planning something new for ki attacks and struggles, we dont know yet. But I think a game control should try to be as simple as possible while providing the most control needed.

For instance, how do you select these huge attacks? Are they implemented into the existing ones? (Just keep holding charge) or will new weapon selection have to be added? This is all the more on the coding side.
