If you keep up like this you wont even need a skin m8.
The only thing i dont like is the chest, Make it a lil bulkier and give it more shape.

actually the top one isn't a really good ref to use because that's when buu's body was getting more fatter, and deformed before he blew up.. try getting one where he's not goign to self destruct

at the moment it has exactly 1111 polys. and i'll try to keep it under 2000. 2000 is the high end. but i think it's not gonna have 2000 i think about 1800 or 1700.

btw the pics are some kind of mesh smoothed cuz ms3d smoothes bad. you wouldn't see much esp. in the neck/head area cuz buu's head almost fades into his neck.

k. i made the neck a bit longer and the head a bit smaller. should look better now. i scaled the head when i was tweakin the neck. it was too big now i guess.

//Edit: i also lowered the origin of the head tail, as sumone said. i totally remodeled the forhead.

It looks absolutely fabulous, man.
Great job!
One little crit: I think the biceps need to be rounded a bit, vertically. So when you look at them sideways, it needs to be rounder. Not just straight.
So fix that a bit, not too much, and you'll leave without a word to say...

Get a real render, one that will actually show faults. This render looks like it is meltig and smooths it all. let me see a normal flatshaded pic. Not this crap.

That way I can really crit.

Mario, what I don't understand is... earlier you were asking if other people out there could skin the model for you. But in that picture, didn't you skin it yourself? Why does someone have to reskin it? You did a beautiful job there.

(I get the feeling I'm missing the bigger picture)

Thats not skinned, its just a smooth shaded render and what he did was color the polygons pinkish.
Like this. The smooth shaded is on the left, and the skinned is on the right.

k. here's a non mesh smoothed and a flat pic (kind of...subdivide in ms3d) for all those who called it highpoly or even skinned.

Get a real render, one that will actually show faults. This render looks like it is meltig and smooths it all. let me see a normal flatshaded pic. Not this crap.
@CrackerJack: man you should even try to not sound that harsh. you may think that's cool or sumthin but it just makes me laugh. btw that renders are just subdivided ms3d pics. it's like a smooth flatshaded pic. cuz it shows all the edges but makes them smooth.

the stomache looks weird in flatshade, but it looks almost perfect in smoothe shade tho, cool idea, doing the stomahce slightly inwards so it gives it a almost 6-pack-like feel

In-game that's going to look amazing. The majority of the details are there, and I doubt the finer details will be too noticible in battle. Amazing job yet again... breathtaking!
