ESPN NBA 2k5? Eww?

I hate b-ball games, I love taking a rookie in 04 and making him a pro. I took a 79 ovr ROLB and made him 98 before the first game of the 4th season. I got a Rookie WR from Aurburn and made him 94 from 73, 2 seasons
Its just... Awesome.. Especially with the new player personalities, captains, changing positions, free agents actually look at your prestige now.. Not just money.. Plus, all the new features XD.

And about Ray Lewis getting hurt (Madden curse), yeah, Ray Lewis benchin it? Yup.. Shure.. He will play with Broken ribs and 1 leg.

According to E3 reports, madden runs choppy/sluggish at times on the ps2 ^_^. | I have a ps2 mind you, so shh!)

But seeing how i have all next gen systems it doesn't bother me. I'm going to get it for xbox, i'm looking forward to xbox live support with non chopp-e-ness

Wow, as long as they keep repackaging the same game, with a few new features, an updated roster, and a new year, they're gonna keep making money off of the fan boys.

wtf? its a football game. you expect them to create a new game everytime or something? what you just said is exactly what should and does happen. do you even play the game? and fanboys? ...ugh.

vick in 2004 was practically unstoppable in the right hands. hopefully they remedied that nuisance of a problem. and the big hit button just doesnt sound like a good idea to me. it was fun in nhl 2001(2?) but i dont think itll go well in madden. we shall see though.

Ok heres my deal, last year ESPN owned Madden 2005 in everything, but hell it's not like I hate Madden so I have a question. Is Madden going to be better than ESPN this year? Because ESPN should be hard to beat. I don't really want to buy it, I wanted to buy NCAA 2005, but NCAA sucks this year. Plus ESPN dropped they're price to 20$!!! As a new release! So I think I pretty much have to buy ESPN(it's gameplay's fun too btw) unless you can tell me why Madden is better.

Yea I meant 2004 my bad. How was ESPN a joke, it was a fantastic game and many people would agree. And to the whole "it's only 20$ how good could it be?" thing, have you played it? 2K5 is a good game, but im just lookin for a change of pace. Even still I might buy 2k5 (I think makin it 20$ is a great marketing scheme so they can beat EA out in sales), but like I said, I haven't heard much about the new madden, so I dunno if it'll be very good or not.

I played ESPN 2k5 at my friends, hated it.

I wouldnt buy it just because they have Terrel Owens on the cover, hes now an eagle, and im a Giants fan. Terrel+Eagles=1 pissed Giants fan.

my fav football team is teh Eagles i used to like madden but until i started playing and seeing 2k5 i wasnt gonna get madden because 2k5 is cheaper and its better everybody says that madden never changes i agree with that the graphics might but the gameplay doesnt change at all =.

the gameplay changes slightly every year. last year was the playmaker thing, this year is more defensive power. so to say that madden isnt changing is, well, stupid.
