Hello this is a rough copy of the current rules for the upcomming esf league Z-Games if there are any suggestions, please post them here or email them to [email protected], thnx.

Introduction
These rules are here to ensure that this league is as fair and fun as possible. The rules are not here to bring the game down but to keep it in order. If there is any rules that we have overlooked or any suggestions please contact OTHEDrain, thank you.

Scheduling
Clans are scheduled on the following:
1. Current win/loss record
2. Current win streak/loss streak

Title Shots:
Title shots will be given to the 2nd place clan, but to qualify for a title shot the 2nd place clan must hold the 2nd place spot for 2 weeks in a row. After they do so the title match will take place the week after.

Title Change:
If the 2nd place clan succeeds in taking the title away from the champion clan. The champion clan will take over 2nd place for a week. They will get a chance to take the title back from thier enemys from last week. For example:

2nd place clan (X clan) defeats 1st place clan (Z clan). Z clan would move to 2nd place and X clan would take over 1st place. That upcomming week the Z clan would get a chance to take back thier title. If they fail they will be dropped down to 3rd place and have to work thier way back up to thier title.

Rescheduling:
Matches must take place on the same day of the scheduled date. The only thing that may be rescheduled is the time, to do so heres some steps.

1. Contact the other clans leader, and work out the rescheduling.
2. Be curtious to the clans needs. Arguing will result in a forfeit for both clans.
3. Remember rescheduling must take place on the same date, only the time shall be changed.
4. Both clans must agree on the time.

Match Play
Enter the server. Once all clan members have joined, simply restart the server with zG config executed. Once the server restarts the match begins. For no reason can the map be restarted again, unless there has been a total server crash or all players drop. If your clan feels they dropped for no reason at all evidence must be shown, including screenshots or demos. Clans have 20 minutes after the match time to enter the server. If 20 minutes are suceeded the match will be forfieted. If there are any server problems the match will not be forfeited, but it must be reported to a zG admin that same night. If the incident is not reported it will count as a forfiet. There should be no reason you cannot contact a zG admin that same night, simply use the contacts on the website.

Server:
The higher ranked clan has the first choice in servers. If the higher ranked clan has a server, the match must be played on that server unless agreed upon before match. The second round should be played on the lower ranked clans server. It is recommended to use a t1 server or higher connection, but if there is no t1 connection server present the faster server must be used. If there is a problem with lag within the server and the 20 min timelimit has not been exceeded the match must be restarted and a new server must be found. If a server cannot be found report to a zG admin for further instructions, but it is encouraged to test out a server to fit how many you need. If your playing a 3v3 it must support a 7 people. If your playing a 4v4 it must be able to support 9.

If a server crashes for some reason in the middle of a match, the lost time will be played in the next round and the score will also move to the next round. Clan leaders are encouraged to watch the score, incase such a incident does happen.

If a match has begun and the visiting clan recognizes there is a problem with any server settings the match must be restarted, unless the 20 min time span has been exceeded. If 20 min from the time of the restarting of the server is exceeded it is considered a legal match and no restart can be enforced. There will be no restart whatsoever even if both clans agree to it after the 20 min mark. If the 20 min mark has been passed, clans may not come to zG admins. If a clan should leave the match at any time because of this rule they will be forced to forfiet with no question. Clans must use the server.cfg found in the files page within the zG ESF website.

In Game Chat:
Only clan leaders are allowed to use all talk for in game matches. There is no reason for clan members should use all talk at all besides to say great game or good luck.

Pre Match:
Clans are expected to contact thier opponents at least 2 days before the match scheduled. In this time discuss server situations, passwords, settings or anything else that may have to be discussed. Please do this to prevent any bad match expieriences.

Post Round:
After a round is played both clans are encouraged to take a 5-10 min break to regroup. After the break clan leaders must report to each other to discuss other server situations.

Post Match:
The winning clan must post thier win to the site. The match must be reported within 24 hours of the match. If the match is not reported within the 24 hours the winning clan will recieve a strike.

Tiebreaker:
There will be no ties in zG esf. If it is tied after the scheduled 2 rounds. The match will go to a sudden death final round that last for 20 min. The tied.cfg config should be loaded for a tiebreaker round. You can find this file in the files page within the zG ESF website.

Forfiets:
Forfiets are not allowed in zG. If for some reason you do not have enough clan members to play in the match. You will recieve a forfiet loss if any clan recieves 3 forfiet losses that certain clan will be kicked from the league or be put on a inactive list untill a zG admin can contact them and review thier situation.

Main Rules
In this game there is not a whole lot of rules to go over, but here are some things that may be blury to some people.
1. There is no rule against attacking a person that is going super saiyan or transforming, it is part of the game, under no circumstances may a clan complain about this.
2. Attacking while 2 people are in a powerstruggle is also allowed.
If any complaining is present about any of these 2 things and evidence is shown the clan will be forfieted and will recieve a loss and a warning 2 warnings = inmediate banning from the league.
3. Excessive beams are not allowed. Now this rule does not mean you cannot charge up your beams, the rule is meant for the people who like to just camp and shoot thier beams and never use any other attacks. This is not allowed. Evidence of this will result in a warning for the clan, if the offense is occured again that clan will recieve a strike.

Strikes:
The system is pretty much the same as baseball. A strike will be given in many situations includding failure to post matches, or any rules that may have been broken. Strikes are not negotiatable, once recieved you will keep that strike. 3 strikes and you will be kicked from the league or a zG admin will contact you and discuss your situation.

Server Settings
Class restrictions:
There may only be 1 of each class from each clan. Under no circumstances may this rule be altered.
For example:
Legal:
Player 1: Cell
Player 2: Trunks
Player 3: Goku
Illegal:
Player 1: Cell
Player 2: Cell
Player 3: Goku
Anyone who abuses this rule and evidence is provided will be immediatly forfieted and recieve a loss!

MEMBER RULES
Multi-Clanning/Ringers are not allowed in zG.

The definition of ringers are the playing of a non clan member. A player that is not on your current roster within the zG website may not play in a match.

The definition of multi-clanners are the playing of a member from a different clan within the zG rosters. No one person can play for 2 clans within the 3v3 or 4v4 leagues. Players can play for both 3v3 and 4v4 leagues within different clans, but may not play in 2 clans for 1 league for example.
Legal:
Player 1 plays for z clan in the 3v3 esf league and x clan for the 4v4 esf League
Illegal:
Player 1 plays for z clan and x clan within the 3v3 esf league.

If multi-clanners/ringers are present and evidence is shown the clan will recieve a strike and possibly kicked out of the league.

Rosters:
Each clan must keep a up to date roster of thier clan. You can find the form to add a new member to your roster under the login area. This is here to prevent multi-clanning/ringing. If a clan is caught with a player not on the current roster before the match. They will recieve a strike.

Administrators:
Z-Games admins are the power of the league. These people are not paid, but they are here to make your gaming expierience as enjoyable as possible. Under no circumstances will a admin be flammed or disrespected. If a admin is disrespected there will be no tolerance and that clan will recieve a strike and possibly worse actions will be taken.

Cheat Prevention
The use of HLTV is a must. The demo will be used to discuss any disuputes and work them out.

The use of HLTV is in the hands of the home server. Whoever is running the server must run the HLTV demo agent in the background. If a demo is not recorded and a dispute is present, the dispute will be thrown away and will not be discussed. In a dispute the HLTV demo must not be released to anyone but the zG admins. This is to prevent any other arguements that may come about.

The clan that is running the HLTV agent must give the ip to the visiting clan and at least 4 spectator spots "2 for each clan" must be open. The proxy must be passworded to prevent any not wanted spectators.

It is reccommended to at least have a cable connection or higher to run HLTV. If HLTV is to become overloaded it will not be any excuse not to use the proxy.

In the case that the HLTV proxy has been disconnected from the server and the 15 min time has passed the visiting clan has the option to stop the match untill a HLTV is present. If the 15 min time mark has not been passed and the HLTV proxy has been disconnected the match must be restarted with the proxy connected. The scores will be added up and counted into the next round if any of these 2 things happen.

The HLTV cfg and how to files are located under the files page. The HLTV.cfg provided by zG must be used.

Bug exploits:
The use of bug or map exploits are not allowed in zG. If a bug is present that will give any one person a advantage over the next, it will not be allowed and if it is found that a bug is present and a clan member is taking advantage of that exploit or bug, they will be warned. That clan may recieve a strike if there are repeated occurances.

Cheating:
Any cheats that are present are not allowed. The definition of cheating is the act of using any hack to advance your power or give you a advantage over the other clan. If cheats are present and evidence is shown that clan member will recieve a immediate ban from the league and will be placed on our ban list.

New Clan Placement
In the event a new clan has signed up. They will be immediatly assigned to the screening ladder for evaluation. Clans will play 2 weeks in the screening ladder to decide which division they will be assigned to. Clans will be asked upon signup which division they would like to join and that will be put under consideration but is not for sure.

Movement to other divisions:
To move to a higher division a clan must win thier respected division title and hold it for 2 weeks. Once a clan has held the title for 2 weeks they will be moved to the next division up.

Movement to A lower division:
Movement to a lower division will only take place if the clan requests it. The zG admins will discuss the movement and a dessision will be made.

Clan movement may be made by zG admins at any time. This is to keep the divisions ballanced. If you have been moved to a different division it will be based on win pct/win streak. The clan will be contacted in this case and will be asked to accept or decline the move.

OTHER
Rules may be changed at any time. Please come back to this page occasionally and search for new updates to the rules. If a new rule is added it will be posted on the main news page.
