YES its true folks. I have finally gotten video editing software and I just wanted to try it once . It turned supriseingly well for an hours long makeing (at 2AM to 3AM) to make it. Even thought it is verry random, I tried my best to match up action shots in ESF (yes this is a ESF movie) with the music. (this means that you have to pay attention to everything, includeing the death meter)

PLEASE NOTE/DISCLAIMER: The music IS NOT good for children under 15. Please dont go all wild if you hear things that are new concepts to you and you dont fully understand.

You need:
WinRar - To decompress the file
WinAmp - In case you cant watch MPEG layer 2 files.
If you cant see the bigger file, just get the smaller one. Crappier video, but windows mieda player can play it.

Go there and download and tell me your crits. (NOT BOUT THE FILE SIZE THOUGH, I did my best to keep the movie in good quaility but still make it small. 36 meg is small enough for me to download in a few minutes) Please keep the crits to productive ones. Much thanks.

That is our first example of a non-constructive crit. It is crazy, but all it is, is a random moive about battleing. Not really much point or story line, but its just meant to show ESF in its rawest form. The movie was about 8 or 9 minutes long before I edited it. That is why it is verry random.

I had to cut out massive parts of the movie. Not to mention that some of the players moved so fast that the movie maker thought that there was new chapters right in the middle of a fight. In addition to me clicking my mouse to change between the characters.

But i am happy for you ... you made you first movie as i understand..... :]
Keep it up.... Next time try to make something with a story...
I i knew how to edit movies i would make someinthg ... And use text sounds and everything else from the episodes..... And then.... Call em something like Esf episodes......

I can film movies i can make sounds for movies But i can edit them :cry:

A program that I used to record the movies was FRAPS. This records the stuff frame by frame. The way it records leaves no room for compression, so 5 minutes turns into four gigs on your machine (you have to buy it to get recordings larger than 30 seconds). This isnt for editing. You will have to find the software on your own.

The reason why you say that you have had better fights with bots is the fact that you havent seen the whole movie. Seeing as it is 8 gigs, I doubt anyone would download it (much less me uploading it).

Ok my crits and comments.

1. the music wasn't the best quality, is there a reason for that? it also seemed to get softer at some points then louder at others, i found that weird.

2. The frames were blah! I heard fraps lowers the frame rate to help with the size of the file, is there any way of turning that off.

Other then that not bad.

The music got softer and louder cause I was trying to emphasize certain parts of the song, maby I should have made it more smooth.
As for the frames, I believe you were watching for a constant fight which I didnt provide. I have said many times that it is a random set of clips that just show esf, not much else.

The movie was long to... But i really want to edit it and add speatch from the episodes....

Yea, there was like ten times when I thought the song was over, even though you were emphasizing parts of the song..it was..yea...

Has no flow to it, as you said, pretty random. Seems to be no timing in it at all. Camera angles could use some help in som e certain parts. I know you used the locked spectator mode, but on parts with advance melee some rotation a tad would've been nice.

Well, I might edit some more crits in later, but that's all I have for now. :]

Oh and after watching the vid , it didn't have much of a theme , but after reading the posts on the music it does make sence , you just need to turn your volume up a tad for it to work properly.
