Belt rises too high up. too many unecessary 'folds' on the back. The lines don't do it for me.

tweeks to make:
-Slightly bigger ears... usualy they are little bigger... unless it just looks that way, cause he got no hair...
-thicker belt.
-thicker drapery in the folds on the pants.. so basicly its gota look less cylinderish then it does now and more jageddy?

what's in red would be what you should try your cell shading to get to do.. with the pants and face... mostly..

anyway, those are my comments on what could be done ..

the torso is amazing, and the face, arms everything its awsome.

Keep up the good work!

How do you get the black outline with the cel shading? I get it, but it's in one spot, and that's the chest area, and no where else.

Thx for your crits ill try to fix it all...

DBXMe2 - i made eyers lil bigger made belt thicker , but about shading i really dunno how to do it like this.. iam not very familiar to cellshade.. if there is some tut with it give it please... but still shading system will be setted in system lighting [this model is for DBZ - Source hl2 engine]and game is cellshade...

i really like how you did it on that pic but i really dont know how to

TRSS - i made those boots black, fixed waist abit

Mad_AxMan - better?

Envee - cellshade is only ink paint and ommi lights

Keep criting it...

rofl, that killed me.

You got the eyes right, and it certainly looks like Krillin. But it's the shape of the head that's out of proportion. i think it's a bit to round and fat.

errr no maybe? ;/

this model is made for the HL2 engine, so the poly count is sorta high for a krillin model.

do you have any flatshaded with a wire frame render for the legs anywhere??

I'll be able to draw over your wireframe to show you how to get a little better praformance out of that cell shading..

yeah, teh legs look a lot like cylinders with a couple of verts pulled out here and there, for shape. rather than folds actually being modeled on, which would work much better for cel shading.

ow the ref you used sucks =x..
those budokai art refs are not accurate...almost at all...
proportions flaws every where...
try some series refs.
