Man, I bought this game a week ago for PC, and knew what to expect. I played it on my friends Xbox when it was first released, and he had to pry me away from it. The game completely kicks major ass. I Would still favor the first one, since it was "new" but the amount of things you can do in this game just kicks ass. Anyone else enjoy this game?

I have yet to pick up the PC version (I will look into it after mid-terms are over), but from what I saw of the X-Box version when my bro and I rented it, I can say that things are looking quite good for this sequel. I do like that you get to start off, right away, as a Jedi, and I'm hoping that, because of that, there will be some sort of interesting character class development later on (like going from a soldier to a Jedi in the original KOTOR). Otherwise, I have little to say, so far. I cannot wait to have more time to go pick up KOTOR 2 and give it a whirl!

I'll try to say this without spoiling anything...

You never are a scout, scoundrel, or soldier. You start off as a guardian, consular, or sentinel. Then, you get to class change later into a Jedi BladeMaster, a Jedi Master, or a Jedi Watchman. OR, if you are dark side, you can be a Sith Marauder, a Sith Lord, or a Sith Assassin. Also, you can have evil corrupting powers that makes people in your party darkside alliance.

Also, the engine runs ALOT smoother, but I've heard it overheats ATI's..I've got a GEforce4 MX 440, and I run it on medium settings and it runs perfectly. The gameplay is pretty much the same, more force powers and feats though. Storyline needs help in a few areas, but you can have two sets of weapons per character. D:

I'm playing it for my 3rd time through now. Played as Light side male, with the prologue being that revan was dark male, and darkside male, with revan being light female. Now I'm a light female saying revan was female, and I'll do the vice versa and I'll let the game rot in storage.

I got the first for the PC and loved it, so I'll probably be getting this one soon.

The only bad thing I heard about it was it gets really easy at the end, like all your enemies are too weak and you walk around crushing everyone too easily.

Yea, you can spam the hell out of force crush, even when the opponent rolls a save, but at the end it's not too easy...that's all I'll say. ;)

21 hours? Slow down, stop and smell the banthas. Its been 24 hours for me and I havent even seen a single sith Jedi, other than the Sith Lords (does that title kick ass or what?)

I was undecisive in whether I wanted to follow the path of a Jedi or a Sith, so after Telos I changed from evil to good and only now, 3 planets later, have I acheived full-goodness status, motes of light, heavenly light behind and everything (ive got the samuel jackson purple saber black man thing going). Next time through, Im going to play as a pure evil, force power crazed Sith Lord (what good is a Jedi Master, if all the light side abilities suck?). But for the present Ive got a Weapon master. Anyone know how many levels you can gain? KOTOR pissed me off by capping at 20, so my Jedi abilities where somewhat hindered.

Awesome game, too bad BioWare didnt make it, Im something of a fanboy for them.

The level cap is 50, but most of the time, you'll be lucky to get to level 30 by the end of the game :p

I have the Xbox version myself, grabbed it week before last when it came out in Europe.

And yea its a longer game then the first, but for the game being smoother I dont find it that way because of all the FPS drops on the Xbox version.

Oh and it comes with a free demo of Republic Commando!

FPS drops? I get those on computer, but I thought consoles were supposed to avoid that. The game is made to run specifically on the damn thing, you think they could at least make it run well. Is RC any good?

Game is way to easy IMO the challenge that u faced in 1 not starting off a jedi caused some problems depending on what class you chose, where as now u start a jedi.

Low force or not speed and u can hit faster and mover quicker.

Dark side is to easy to beat it with my Sithlord finished with a 63 dmg single handle light saber, +5 str+4 wis+4 dex +20 energy damage+to dark side damage etc.

No i didn't cheat in anyways u just have to look around and get lucky on the random loot gen =).

Sadly i didn't hit Dark side master tho, i got light side points near the end damn malak bah!
