Kaoken?1.3?

I think ESF is great much better that budokia and I would like to see kaioken when 1.3 comes out it might be so good that someone might buy the project off you and continue it like atari or something its been done with Counter Strike exept bought by valve and remade it much better than released it

*raises hand* i'm happy about it! i haven't noticed any significant bugs lately, exept for the permanent kiblobs, and i don't have a problem waiting for the parth or new version, seeing as how i just got the game like 2 weeks ago.. haha

and kaioken.. i remembering EVm having a nice kaioken attack... the red aura was pretty sexy :laff: i wouldn't mind having a kaioken, and it's a plus for me since i use goku all the time..

my statement for a/an ETA was for data purposes (knowning wtf their doing and why it would take any one so long). obviously patience is not my strong hold. oh well, i could care less if you like crashing to desktop 24-7, and no perfect cell or frieza then so be it.

as for kaioken in 1.3 (to stay on topic) its obvious that goku is the only one that will get this feature. which makes him sorta imbalanced even more with solar flare abuse, but now he will get a speed boost to solar flare ya, melee catch ya and put ya down even faster? hmm makes sense to me... perhaps an elaboration on just what exactly the function of kaioken is gonna do for goku.

perhaps a red glowing aura with a turbo/swoop tail to show where he is going. would make it easyer to keep track instead of trying to use a glitchy scanner that doesnt have a very nice range on detection.

Obviously if kaioken were to be implemented, it would have some sort of drawback. I seriously doubt the team would give any character an attack that would (in a sense) make them invincible.

Solar Flare abuse? Seriously, wtf. Unless you're fighting someone really good, you will never get "solar flare abused". Glitchy scanner? You may want to focus more on your fights than on your scanner....maybe thats why you are beaten so often.

And quit *****ing about everything that's in esf. Im tired of seeing you complain in every thread that you post in. If you dont like esf, stop playing and leave the forums. As an alternative, you can make suggestions that make sense (unlike your ape thread) and improve gameplay rather than make it dull and just outright stupid.

there is such a thing as solar flare abuse, aka teleport in flare then melee. they cant dodge because they will not be able to see the arrows. that and/or swing into ground then teleport in solar flare or even with trunks burning attack flash bangs ya all to hell. (the arrows should be fixed in order to dodge when flared, as in the cartoon many users cant see when solar flared but they can sense attacks and dodge.)

as for the statement of "seriously doubt that they would give a char a invincible skill" they have done it already; its not making them god mode-ish but it sure does make them godly. finger lazer spam damage needs to be revamped, solar flare length reduced and when double flashed it has the old cs flash bang glitch (it doesnt cancel out the first one), read about that at steampowered.com (they fixed it in a patch for cs source beta and condition zero, but not hl mods or cs 1.6 its coming soon though).

as for scanner there is a glitch in range. i use first person and often glance at scanner and it says im in the clear i charge for a big bang so im undetected unlike final flash that makes me glow, and when im bout to fire out of no where the enemy comes... even when scanner says clear? mmm hmm ok thats not a glitch nimrod? (btw they arnt teleporting they are swooping which means their at medium range hence the name "scanner glitch")

as for gameplay suggestions yours have yet to better mine, and unlike you i do not flame certain people for stating factual data on gameplay features/ or their starting threads for fun or help.

as for kaioken it should have a red meter on hud to resemble its aura color. it will half the total amount of ki the user has so that its charge is usable only for short quick burst. it can only be used in form 1 so ssj doesnt really need or use it any wayz.

thats my suggestions and my OPINION, if you do not like em and feel the need to flame them like a infantile lil prick then so be it (aka zeonix). all i can do is make a short mature flame back before muting your ass and making you look like the jerk that you are infront of forum junkies like your self that live in the forums 24-7 posting crap after crap trying to get attention and/or 1000+ post because your a loser with no life.

Do you want the solar flare to have no use at all?

Sure, the characters in the show might be able to dodge some attacks when blinded, probably not all of them. Skilled players in ESF might be able to dodge some attacks if they've payed attention to their opponent's fighting style. (Or just bash some random keys)

PS: VuLLs, you're pretending to be so much more mature than the ppl you're bashing or whatever... you're not. Grow up.

off topic:
Boduokai 2 is awesome, budokai 3 looks awesomer (i know that's not a word BTW). The defining factor that decided weather i would get an X-box or PS2 was the fact that the budokai series was only on PS2. Never never give release dates, or even ETA's. DMZ did that and look where they are? Dead and hated by a lot of old fans.

ON TOPIC:
Kaioken seems like a good idea, i think that it should be maybe a replacement for goku's turbo? Or it could be like it was in EVM, you press a button and a menu comes up saying the levels of kaioken (1x, 3x, 10x, 100x, SUPER kaioken (for ssj only obv)) and the number you can choose increase as you go up PL (like in EVM). The really big ones like 100x would drain health

you guys still have to remember that goku uses kaioken times 2 to even out the difference between him and vegeta. comparing kaioken with a ssj will show. its not that great of an technique.

But in the game at normal levels Goku and Vegeta are about even (Goku is a bit stronger I think) So despite Goku needing kaioken in the series having it in ESF makes him stronger than most normal level characters.

Although he does also use it when fighting Pikkon...so it still evens the odds.
But in this mod im not sure it would work too great. Don't wanna see Goku getting overpowered (he already is well balanced and has the ability to teleport with beams!) Goku has enough SSJ transformations anyways.

What you posted as solar flare abuse is in fact a great strategy for defeating noobs like yourself. You do realize that you can easily beam jump away after being solar flared, right?

"Lazer spam" doesnt make anyone god-like -_-. Learn not to stay still like a moron and you wont get hit as much as you do now.

That scanner glitch still doesnt seem like a glitch to me. A few possibilities to explain that "glitch":

1) You werent watching the scouter while you preparing to big bang spam the server (that explains the hiding part of your strategy).

2) You were ssj. Perhaps the person that attacked your candy ass had a much lower pl, making him harder to see on the scouter.

Id also like to see this thread where i flamed some kid for not speaking 100% perfect english. Doesnt sound like something i'd do (i know me pretty well).

Your kaioken idea is still very spammable. I could use it, flee and allow it to recover itself, and then return with another round of kicking your ass with a system you thought was good.

I dont believe i have posted many opinions. These are mostly facts. Ive seen some damn good ideas, and yours register as "wtf?" on my good idea meter.

I also have nowhere near 1000 posts.

ANYWHO, uhh Kaioken, well i like the idea. But i don't see how it could be implemented with out being spammed, if you did what evm did you would die in 10 seconds. I wouldn't mind doing what eea did. press 'T' and 'E' at the same time to charge your pl (pl the white number not the blue bar, some people get confused) higher, and then it would drop at quite a rapid pace, your speed would increase as well. I actually liked that. If it didn't waist even MORE ki then turbo does now i'd certainly use it.

but i mean come on. Goku has 3 transormations, it works for me. with kaioken, the sb, KHH, those kame torps etc, hes pretty over powered.

PS- Vulls, i don't see how any of those tactics you talked about before could work, solar flare takes up way too much ki, you would hardly have enough to teleport. (i wouldnt know i never use it) but i have used it enough to figure out that 1. you need to be damn close to them 2. it takes up about 90% of your ki when used. so that wouldn't work, solar flare isnt abused i haven't seen anyone use it in the time i've played esf, unless it was just a joke, and no one was "actually" fighting.

That is also a loop hole in the show due to the fact that goku is technically unable to go kaioken while in ssj form. if you do your research it is a technicality

I don't ever recall goku using Kaioken after the freiza saga... seeing as he could just go ssj instead... or 2 or 3 which ever depending on the saga.
