I'm really not. I'm only unshaven on my days off. And my hair is short because that's the only way to get a good job. And I chew my fingernails, so I cut them

^ Joke. -_-

Leave me alone, please.

Everybody needs my love, are you comfortable enough with your paranoia to deal with the consequences of no-Rocky love?

I'M WATCHING YOU!

As for the state of men, I stand by a theory called "The Pussification of the American Male" And believe that this must be stopped.

Male pussification has been around forever. You can't stop it. Just be happy knowing you're an angry hetro male with more testosterone than Ron Jeremy.

The metrosexuals can do whatever they want. Any decent specimen of the female species will reject these abominations and rather go for real men. It's part of natural selection - the metrosexuals help us filter out the women we don't really want.
That's an optimistic way of putting it.

Let's take a common stereotype, some of which our forum represents: The gamer slob. Unshaven, likely not wearing deodorant, uncut and dirty fingernails and unruly longer hair..
lol, Alea is back. Time for my pathetic excuse:

I shave myself regularly, but then again I have just so much facial hair that shaving really isn't a bother, merely several strokes on wet hairs and that's it.

I always wear deodorant, but I have this genetic thing with my sweat glands working so well that hardly any deodorant can keep back the sweat. And believe me I've tried many. Dirty fingernails? Sometimes, but I try my best to maintain it. MAH LONG CURLEH HAIR PWNS J00 ALL AND J00 KNOW IT!

What women seem to like about the so-called metrosexual look is a guy who actually takes care of himself.

Let's take a common stereotype, some of which our forum represents: The gamer slob. Unshaven, likely not wearing deodorant, uncut and dirty fingernails and unruly longer hair.

Which is a woman more likely to like? That? Or a clean-cut guy who shaves, practices proper hygiene as well as wears fashionable, form-fitting clothes that show off their physique?

Not so hard to understand.

woah, woah woah... it's not so hard for YOU to understand, being that you are, in fact, female.

as a guy, my experiance with women, is that none of you ever have a ****ing clue what you like about guys, ESPECIALLY the guy you're with. 90% of my female friends spend about 70% of their time *****ing to me about how they hate this or that about their boyfriends, but they love them anyway. get a grip.

when it comes to my own appearance, i guess i'll let these pictures talk for themselves:

when i want to work, i dress like this:

when i'm out for a stonker of a weekend getting absolutely lashed with my friends, we tend to dress like this:

most of the rest of the time, including band practice and gigs, i just wear whatever is on my floor at the time. if it fits, and it's comfortable, i'll wear it. don't give a **** about this form fitting crap. i put a little bit of wax in my hair, but my hair generally does what it wants to anyway, whether i like it or not, so i don't put too much effort into it...

i don't grow a beard because it would look unprofessional at work, i like looking smart at work because it gives a good impression to both colleagues and clients. when i do my part time work (second job) at a local games studio, i wear the clothes in the third picture. i'm hygenic, i shower every morning, brush my teeth etc, always use a condom, and i bite my nails.

i'm of the opinion that when girls are attracted to me, it's not because i look a particular way, but it's because i've manipulated them into liking me. as depraved as you might think that is, i don't give a ****, because at the moment i don't want to settle down, i spent from 16 to 20 years old, in committed relationships, and now i want to enjoy my life. so when i start talking to a girl, and am only interested in everything she has to say, despite the fact that in the back of my head all i care about is that the football match behind her looks awsome, and that i bet her tits look fantastic, she doesn't know what's going on in my head, because as far as she's concerned, i'm a nice guy, who is interested in her life, not her looks.

oh but how wrong she is, and the interesting thing about that is, i know many, MANY girls, who manipulate guys in the same way.

heh, metrosexual my ass, girls are out for the same thing guys are: a good time.

I love how all the insecure people have described themselves after Alea's post to prove how they *don't* fit the description.

Keep going guys, you haven't convinced us all yet.

-edit

*Hi-5's Alea for a superb line*

Well.. according to Alea, a metro is someone with good hygiene and wears somewhat fashionable clothes. I wear brand name clothes (hurley, Hollister, Element, ect..) and have good hygiene, so by that logic, Me and nearly everyone else i see besides dirty, nerdy people are metrosexuals.

What I'm trying to say is that Alea generalized them too much... theres some form of wannabe-***ness in metrosexuality. I don't think I'm a metrosexual, but according to Alea, i am (or atleast give off that look). Thats what I'm getting at.

and... this is off-topic, but didnt the Nix die or something? i could've swore you said something along the lines of "the nix... she... she is gone"
