internet conection error

When i´m trying to conect to a server at the internet, i always get a error:
LAN servers are restricted to local clients (class C)

please help me

that means the server does not have sv_lan 0 set - meaning only people on the same network as it can join.

You should either get the admin if you know them to set sv_lan 0, or find a different server.

the problem is that there is no server i can join, because of the error
and i don´t know anyone, because i play esf just since one month

are you using steam and what internet connection do you have?

sounds like hes just using half life and trying to connct through WON which is dead. so unfortunately you have to download steam, and regester your cd key on there and such...
