I think it would be cool if the scouter was also indicating wether people are currently charging an attack (for example the dot replesenting these persons could be blinking), since this often happened in the shows and would be VERY useful.

I think it is a good idea, and its accurate to the show.

but if it was a reality, then people would get too much warning and they could make a getaway, or start blocking.

i dont think the scouter should show too much info cause if it did it would make gameplay less interesting because u would know what someone is doing at all time

best to leave some stuff a surprize to someone being attacked

I agree with hibs, you gotta have at least some stealthiness in ESF, like cheaping a beam at someone from behind, which is always fun to do :D

at least the strongest attacks should be shown... such as kamehameha, spiritbomb, final flash and big bang

good idea but it would make it unbalanced you sneeking behind there back then they see on teh scouter the dot they they look towards you were the scouter is north east south west then you can block not good for sneeky players

Ok. New idea. Since some of you obviously don't like the lack of surprise resulting from this, my new idea will probably fit better.
Information on attack-charging is only available in the player-screen of the scouter (so you only know about the enemy you are concentrating on). Maybe here you should also be able to see how much energy he already charged (you could simply see the same charging-bar he sees himself)
What do you think? I really like this idea!

I agree this could be a good idea. I think you need some way of sensing that large ki attacks are coming your way so you have a chance to get away or at least block it.

This would be especially good for ppl with slow piece-o-crap comps who cant see ppl from far away because they have to have resolution low. (Not me. 2.53 GHZ here!)
