I wouldn't need to save anything. I keep my computer fairly clean, and anything that is of any importance is backed up on my FTP. I mainly only back up files I can never get back, but most files on my computer (like over 95%) I can get back with a few clicks of a mouse.

I suppose I would try and save my music files, there not easy to get back, but still possible.

Though it sounds petty, I'd probably have to pick my Morrowind "saves" directory :p

And another one agrees. It takes a ****load of time to build up something new, with morrowind.

My mp3s.
Everything else is replacable. Of course the mp3s are too, but it would take a long time.

I agree. I've ripped practically every CD I have ever owned onto my computer because I basically use my computer as a stereo, and I'd hate to have to do that all over again.

I back up vigorusly, so the event would make me sigh, then make me reload all that I currently have.
Same, constantly backing up data is the ultimate counter to data corruption and hardware crashes.

But if I had to choose one thing to save, it would be my Visual Studio source codes/projects folder.

i constantly back up all my projects and software as my pc is subject to reformatting more than it actually working, buut if one thing is needed to be saved, it would be my project folders, mainly becuase i got alot of stuff there im using and everything else is on a disk somewhere in the room ;O

Everything I cannot redownload in five seconds off of FilePlanet. My mapping folder, textures folder, and my 10 gigabytes of MP3s.
