ideas for ESF

i have 2 ideas for esf:

1. hiding you power level, like when respawned, you'll start at 10.000, then you are able to power up to your (normally) power of 1.372.954,
but then become slower but more powerfull, but there must be an ability to lower your power again and become faster but less powerfull.

2. a new last man standing(team and 'free for all') play mode, that would be fun!!!

please tell me if these are good ideas or not and if they will be in a new version of ESF

if you dont understand this all, i would be happy to explain (i am not a professional in english, because i am dutch)

hmmm the first one I dont agree with (most here dont) cuz ESF Is a fast paced game not hide and camp stuff ... but the second is preety cool :)

Hiding your pl must be the stupidest thing I've ever heard. As for your second idea, not too shabby.

First one: No, ESF is a fast paced game, that would only encourage "campers", and would slow the game down (also been suggested so many times :( )

Second: good idea, but has been suggested a couple times before.

so the 1st idea will be trash, i thought it would be fun (a quik charge perhaps) because in the series they can also hide the power level and it would give n00bs an extra chance, but if you say so that its crap, then that idea will drop off

Forget hiding PL, what about just powering down? Sure it would be more for those people who like to have Ego trips (power down and kill people to make them look bad) but it would add a taste of "role play" value that the game is lacking. Personally when I'm on a pub and I'm on the top of the game I'd like to be able to cut my power level in half and give people more of a chance to do damage to me. If I ran into somebody that I felt I needed to go all out against I'd have the option of going back up to my full power.

It isn't about the "tactical strategy" involved in shrinking your power level to gain PL faster (I'm sure they could code around that so that you gained PL at nearly the same speed as you would have, so as to prevent unbalancing power levels resulting from it), it's about being able to have fun with your enemies.

"Hey, you're pretty good. I guess I should stop playing around, eh?"

"Huh?"

::doubles power level:: "Now let's try that again."
