HTML is an acronym for "Hyper Text Markup Language". It is the standard language for coding webpages.

vB can be either two things. If you are talking about forums, then VB stands for V-Bulletin Board. It is just the name the designers gave the forums. VB is also an abbreviation for Visual Basic, a programming language.

VB also is a short name that people call Vegeta-Briefs because they are too lazy to type out her full name. There are other languages that you can use to build webpages along with HTML, such as Javascript. Like lost said, use google to search for tutorials on these things if you want to know more, or even learn these languages(google and other search engines are the most powerful tools on the internet. if you learn to use it, you can find almost anything)

vB Code is a shortened set of PHP powered graphic tags that can be used to emulate HTML. For use with vBulletin of course.
