seeing as some people dont know how to load up a demo in esf,and not seeing one thread wher it teaches you how to do it,well....:\

To record your demo:

Load up the game, and when you are ready to record it,type this into the console

record demoname

where demoname is the name of your demo, and of course without brackets

and when you feel like stopping, because you own too much or been owned too much, type this in console

stop

And if you think you want to show people how well (or badly,in some cases ^^; ) you play, use Winzip or Winrar to zip/rar them and put them up on the net.

Be sure to check your esf folder, mine would be C: \Sierra\Counter-Strike\esf\

And when you do zip/rar them, put them up for distribution, and voila!

To play a demo

You've gotten your file,now what?

Simply unzip it with Winzip(or in some cases, use Winrar to 'unrar' it) into the ESF folder.

The next thing you do is load up ESF,then click on console(it should be on top of all the other menus)

Then you type in the following

playdemo demoname

where the demoname is the demos name, remember to add the .dem or it might not work

Now you'll see that there aren't any models there,to fix it simply type in this

thirdperson

It should show the models, the only drawback is that all sprites turn total 2D,so dont complain about it

to stop the demo, type the following

stopdemo

Then it should work

That's all for the demo playing stuff,if you have any questions,Ill be here, but remember,Im human too so I cant be sitting here 24/7 :)

EDIT : I frgot to say tha I need this sticked because Im too lazy to browse a couple of pages
