I've been wondering how to make a mod... what kind of program language to use and stuff?

I have no idea were to start when it comes to makeing a mod from absolute scratch or even if it was almost done :laff: but i think it depends on what game engine your going to use to understand the language for it? I dont know im still really stupid on these kind of things. lol

If you use the alpha 2.0 source, yes. And you use c++ to program a half-life mod.

I wrote something (long paragraph about this) but can't seem to find it. Basically positions you'll need are:

-Coder
-Animator
-Mapper
-Modeller/Skinner
-2D Artist
-Sound Artist
-Website Manager
-Leader

Some people can mix and match (e.g. be both an animator and a modeller/skinner). But before you start a mod, you need a concept of how you are going to do it or else people won't join (the more organized you are the more people are going to want to not only join your mod but do work as well).
