how can i set the colors of my sprite to 256 in adobe photoshop 7.1?

im no photoshop expert but my guess is to save it as a GIF animation -_-

if you did that you would know that this one should of been in Miscellaneaous, and if you checked out the sticky's in that section you would of found all the information you needed

on the menu, go to image>mode>indexed color and choose the "windows" option. I do know it has to be in inedxed mode, dunno if it has to be the system windows mode. You save it as a .Bmp.

It just needs to be indexed. windows mode doesn't matter.

Yes but i can't make an animate sprite i don't understand english and i haven't a übersetzungsprogram. Can someone tell me easyer how can i make animated sprites?

If you have Photoshop, you should have ImageReady. Use ImageReady to make your animated images.

Just make sure every frame of the sprite is 256 color, and all frames use the same palette.
