Horrible Bug

Everytime i chill in a game for a few moments... my screen goes completely dark and i have to restart my computer... i dont think its the ghosts... so what the hell could it be

overclocked vid-card ???
or overclocked CPU ???

I have this problem sometimes, it happens when my com gets alot of stress and loads alot.
Mainly, by playing high detailed games and when my settings are incorrect and begins to lag.

I think it has something to do with overclocking like Nretep said, and it can be changed in BIOS, I guess?
