HL.exe crashes

Sometimes when i start an esf lan game it comes comes with a half life error. though it does not happen all the time it is beginning to piss me off ;( ;( ;(

Heh... try playing under openGL or Direct3d if its not already.......

That wouldn't create an error message, just crash the game.
Please post what the error message says.

Before when I was playing on Software, my thing crashed and said an error log was being created..... when I changed it it stooped...... I dunno :S

Thats a windowsXP error message. Basically HL just crashed on him. WindowsXP has that silly message appear whenever something crashes. I would recommend changing your graphics mode, like lone wolf said

its in opengl mode running off a gforce4 ti4400 @ 1024x768

I get that too, but I just kept playing anyway and the error just stopped appearing...
