help with esf

ok i installed steam, then ran steam, then installed halflife, then ran halflife, then registered my cd key with steam and i get under play games: counter strike, team fortress classic, day of defeat, half life, deathmatch classic, opposing force, and ricochet, i downloaded esf but i dont know where im supposed to install it to
plz help

Oh and you have to run HL throo STEAM not from the sierra foulder
