Help with background music

sry if this has been posted before...but i was wondering.

i just downloaded the new ESF version 1.2 and i must say its most excelent. However, there is a problem: there is no background music. When i start it up there music..but in an actual game i hear no music. While this is fine..its kinda boring. Now i checked the ESF playlist editor that came..and its supposed to play all these songs. I checked, and all of them work, so how come the songs aren't playing?

i'd be most pleased if someone could help me.

btw..anyone know when the new 1.2.1 patch is coming out? im lookin forward to the INCREASED PL gain..right now its takin wayyyyyy too slow.

when u start up in steam go to options>advanced then enable mp3 player. I have the same problem and u have to start it up EVERYTIME you play esf

Or you can just do cl_mp3player 1 in console.

i have the same exact problem.. but i can actually load the mp3 player, but it says songname.(this file name .wav or something)

i tyed in cl_mp3player 1 and clickd mp3 in advance menu?..
maybe its the playlist, can u help me out guys?
