Help! VALVE validation rejected!

When i wanna join a server, it says just: "VALVE validation rejected"

Please help me, i wanna play this mod finally! PLS i cant join, but why?

Did you have the same problem? How did you solve it´?

Well i just checked these points, and all ponits are right on my PC.

I installed the game into C:/Programs/Valve

And i also have the newest version 1.2.3

I do not use any add-ons, cause i just installed the game.

Ive got a firewall, but when i deactivate it, it says the same.

Well i have Counter Strike 1.6, but not half life. Is this the problem? I dont think so... Well ok thank you for your Help, im gonna reinstall this. Thanks!

Depends. CS 1.6 is OK as long it comes with HL. If it comes with CZ than it isnt OK.

You can check that in STEAMS browse games menu ^^

This is a little bit wired. listen: i bought Counter Strike Condition Zero first. There i installed 1.6 with it. And i created with that cd key the steam account. Then i took the game of my brother, Counter Strike Anthology, theres also 1.6 in it. The i bought HL², and Source with it.

But its quite dont working. VALVE validation rejected, what doese that means anyway? If we know that, i could guess maybe whats the problem.

You nead HL 1 not source or CZ that wont work. That could very well be your problem.

If im not mistaken, ESF wont work on Anthology either. And it definetely wont work for HL2. So if u really want to play the game, ull have to buy HL1
