ok, so this is about the mod ECX rC2...i know its probably not aloowed in here, but no one else will reply anywhere else but here. so, i installed ECX RC! and RC2 along with big pack v8.4 and when i start ecx and join a ecx server, the loading screen will get to halfway of the "vailidating resoources" or something like that. it will do that and end up back to the lobby..

now, sometimes when i join ecx servers, it will downlload a bunch of models and other files, and his takes litterally an hour or so and STILL not work...

so i ask here, how do i fix this, and let me play more than 9 characters>???

Moved to "Customization Section > Addons, Plugins & Scripts".

ECX is allowed to be within the forums, and people can ask help regarding this Addon, just we don't give "official" support of the ESF team. Anyway, you do realize that ECX takes up a lot of system resources, right? What are your computer specs?

I have a really crappy computer, and it takes a while to join a server but after 10 minutes it joins... I don't think he has a crappier comp then mine, unless it's like 8 years old

Your internet connection also plays a purpose in how long it takes you to join a server.

my con is fine, high speed internet and my comp can run the latest comp games so no problem there

btw, the main screen b4 u join servers is a pic of SS goku when hes torn up from frieza..

You probably installed ECX into the wrong place.

Try installing it into the ESF directory.

I dont play ECX. Dont like telesense spam in there along with "i wana wish" noobs.

If the server you are trying to join has even 1 character that you dont have you cant join. Its the flaw of the CCI.

Nothing you can do about it.

When i installed the big pack it installed a bg maker too, just load an 800X600 bmp or jpg and disco - you got your clipped targas.

should be in /resource along with the rest of the background targa's
