when i join a server where it says to choose a side or spectate. the big open yellow box says like the persons name. and rules and stuff that they have. how do youdo that? do you need metamod or amx. cuz i dont think they had that. id show you a pick but i dont have anyplace to host it. and last time i tried to use my site it didnt work...

That would be a map description (found in the maps folder in the .txt for the map you are currently playing). It's credits, if you want an MOTD then you should create a file (text file) with the name motd then put whatever you want in it. It will show up when you join the game. This is for Steam mind you, I don't know if it would work for WON.

ohhh hey thanks... well idk tho, cuz it would say something. then id click ok. then id get the map credits and stuff. and id have to pick a side. then a character. but thanks. ill try it

It should work...did you put the motd.txt file in your esf folder? (Uhm and ofcourse you would only see this if its your server)
