well i use to get 100 fps for all my games and then i had to reformate my computer and when i installed steam and cs esf and such it would jump from like 100 to like 20 i dont understand anyone know that cause of this or a way to help me out again?

FPS is Frames per Second Trunks, the higher the better. Going from 100 to 20 sounds like you need Video Card drivers. Depending on who made your card you'll need to go to either www.ati.com or www.nvidia.com and grab them. Nvidia drivers cover ALL the nvidia cards while ATI have 2 or 3 different driver sets for different series of cards. Make sure you have DX 9.0b as well.

well i downloaded the driver installed it turned off vertical sync and i still get 100 but then when i turn and stuff it drops to about 40-50
