Help plz!

Whenever I start playing esf on lan, and I use bots, my game hangs and exits to my desktop in about 3 to 5 min. I have downloaded the full client version 1.2.3 and whatever I tried it only ended up in me seeing my desktop again. Does anyone know how to fix this?????

well have you tried installing steam? if not steam the patch?

Yes, i have steam, and hl. And which patch are you talking about?

I've tried reinstalling too, but that didn't work either.....
